PONTIC is here to make CoNNeCTioNS. We have NO non-compete contracts or permanent placement fees.
You’re able to cancel a dental professional at any time, but will be subject to a cancellation fee if it’s within 3 days of the scheduled booking. If you have a concern about a dental professional, you may submit a Incident Reporting Form.
Incident Reporting FormNo. You only pay for hours worked by the dental professional. All hours are logged on the PONTIC Platform, subject for your approval, and payments are processed through our payment partner Authorize.Net.
* PONTIC has a $30.00 fee for permanent job postings.
Yes. We also verify professional licenses.
Nope. We’ve got that covered.
There’s a 2.9% additional fee for credit card transactions. We also offer ACH withdraws which have no additional fees.
Licenses are verified by PONTIC upon hire.

A picture – you can upload a picture of the staff, office, or your logo.
Contact Information
Office hours
Some information about the software your office uses
Bank account information or a credit card (this will be used to pay PONTIC at the conclusion of a contract)
To fill out your office information just click Create Profile.
When you post a job with PONTIC, the job is sent out to all job seekers that are willing to travel to your office!
Go to My Jobs on the left-side menu
Click Create Job
Choose the job type
Choose the job position
Select the dates needed
Provide a job description
And Complete
The job you just created will be sent to all staff in the surrounding area and posted on our Job Board.
Dental professionals can submit Proposals for the jobs. To be proactive, send Proposals to the dental professionals you’re interested in!
PONTIC automatically filters the dental professionals that are willing to travel to your office.
Select Find Temp Staff in the left-side menu
Use our Filters to find the perfect fit.
Click on the dental professionals name to view additional profile information
If you’re ready to submit a proposal to a temp, select Send Proposal
After selecting Send Proposal, you’ll be taken to Chat & Proposals where negotiations happen.
In the Chat & Proposal page, you’ll be able to submit offers to dental professionals as well as send chat messages.
In the Job Proposal Form, select the job you wish to extend to the dental professional.
The Job Rate automatically populates the rate the dental professional has listed on their profile.
Adjust the Job Rate as needed during the negotiation process.
And send dental professionals a Chat Message to accompany the Job Proposal Form.
The negotiation process continues until the dental professional has accepted, and you can Book.
You are able to Book a dental professional after they have accepted/submitted a Job Proposal Form. Don’t wait too long or they may get booked by another office!
Go to My Jobs and select the job you wish to Book.
Select the days you wish to Book our employee for.
Click Book.
Congrats! The dental professional will be notified that you’ve selected them for a job!
Dental professionals will enter their hours for your Approval. You have one day to Approve or Reject hours before they will be automatically Approved.
On your Dashboard, you’ll find the hours you need to approve.
Click Review Hours.
If you agree with the hours submitted by your temp, select Approve.
If you disagree and Reject the submitted hours, you’ll be required to enter a reason that will be sent to the dental professional and PONTIC administration.
The appropriate funds will be taken from your bank account or credit card and distributed to the PONTIC employee
To Edit a Job Posting:
Go to My Jobs on the left-side menu
View the job you wish to Edit
Select Edit in the upper right hand corner
You’re able to update the Job Type, Job Position, and Job Description.
To Delete Your Job Posting:
Go to My Jobs on the left-side menu
View the job you wish to Delete
Select Delete in the upper right hand corner
Confirm
You will not be able to Delete your Job Posting if you already have dental professionals Booked. You’ll need to first Cancel your Bookings.
To Delete a day of your Job Posting:
Go to My Jobs on the left-side menu
View the Job Posting
Under Upcoming Days select Delete Day
Confirm the deletion.
You will not be able to Delete a Booked day until you Cancel that Booking.
To Cancel a day of your Job Posting:
Go to My Jobs on the left-side menu
View the Job Posting
Under Upcoming Days select Cancel Booking
Confirm the cancellation.
If you cancel Booked day 3 or less day before the scheduled days, you’ll be charged a cancellation fee that is paid directly to the dental professional .
